Please join us for one – or more – Mako Virtual Surgical Observations!
Experience a live Mako procedure in our Mako Virtual Surgical Observation (VSO) series. We are excited to offer you these virtual opportunities to experience Mako SmartRobotics™ and its three key components – 3D CT-based planning, AccuStop™ haptic technology and insightful data analytics – during the live surgery observations.
Each VSO will focus on one particular Mako application – Mako Total Knee, Mako Partial Knee and Mako Total Hip. Our moderator and surgeon will provide an opportunity to explore planning, balancing, bone prep, registration, pin and array placement and more, all from the operating room directly to you. We look forward to accompanying you on your Mako education pathway!

- Describe how to place the femoral and tibial arrays, collect patient landmarks, and register and verify checkpoints
- Formulate an understanding of functional knee positioning, through discussing intraoperative refinements to optimize component positioning and soft-tissue balancing
- Discuss the clinical benefits of Mako SmartRobotics™ to your practice

- Describe how to place the pelvic array, collect patient landmarks, and register and verify checkpoints
- Demonstrate the intraoperative changes that can be made to adjust hip length and offset goals
- Discuss the clinical benefits of Mako SmartRobotics™ to your practice
